Oysters should be kept refrigerated until ready to cook on the day of arrival.
Oysters in the shell:
Boil until the shells open and continue boiling 3–5 more minutes.
Steam until the shells open and continue steaming for 4–9 more minutes.
Boil for 3 minutes or until edges curl
Fry for 3 minutes at 375°F
Broil 3 inches from heat for 3 minutes
Bake at 450° F for 10 minutes
