We were lucky to recieve, in Dallas Texas, four 1.35 lb chicks the
Thursday before New Years as a gift from a dear friend of ours. They
arrived in great condition, very perky which tells us just how fresh they
(You could hear and feel them moving in the box when they arrived.)
We steamed all of them that night and had 2 for dinner. With the other
two, once cooled, we made lobster salad for lobster rolls for the weekend.
Wonderful! Maine lobsters are the best! I was lucky to spend 2 summers
in Brunswick in 1980 and 1981 and learned just how wonderful they are. We
wish we lived in New England so we could enjoy them more often, but we
have to say these reminded us of when we were there. Delicious.
